Important announcements for EFRC participants
- APPLICATIONS FOR TRAVEL GRANTS
It is now possible to apply for the travel grants that ATGENDER has made available for students/precarious scholars who cannot cover the travel/accommodation costs. To apply, please send a short statement of motivation (100-150 words max.) to <info@atgender.eu> explaining a) your employment/student status, b) which costs you can cover, and which costs (with the approximate amount) you want ATGENDER to help. This will help us distribute available funds in a more efficient way. The deadline for the application is 31 March 2022.
- SOLIDARITY FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
We would like to kindly inform you about our fundraising campaign. As we have mentioned before, there are many great presentations that would contribute greatly to the conference. However, some scholars are in precarious positions, struggling to pay the conference expenses. ATGENDER intends to issue some grants for such scholars, and we need your help for this!
As we shared before, conference fees are divided into different categories based on student/employment status. We are aware that some institutions issue more funding than others. Therefore, if you are in a position to pay a higher category fee than what you fit into, please do! We will be using additional funding to support scholars in precarious positions.
This issue matters very much to many feminists and we kindly ask you to help us making the conference more inclusive!
- The conference will start at 1pm on 15th June 2022 and end at 1 pm on 18th June 2022.
- If you already know that you will not be able to join us at the conference, please let us know, writing an email to your strand and to info@atgender.eu
We are looking forward to seeing you in Milan!
