Call for conference intern for the European Feminist Research Conference 2025

**DEADLINE TO APPLY: 25th APRIL 2025**

ATGENDER: The European Association for Gender Research, Education and Documentation offers one internship for an MA student (based in Utrecht) to support the organization of the European Feminist Research Conference in July 2025 in Barcelona.

The internship will last from May 1st until July 17th 2025 with a total of 200 working hours variably spread out through the period (regular weekly working hours from Utrecht and concentrated working hours in Barcelona between July 8th and 13th 2025).

YOUR TASKS DURING THE CONFERENCE

• Support office management tasks before the conference (and until the week after) in close cooperation with office manager
• Editing and formatting the book of abstracts for the conference
• Logistics and support on-site in Barcelona during the conference (registration desk, technical assistance…)
• Administrative support for the general assembly of ATGENDER during the conference in Barcelona

WHAT WE OFFER

• A modest compensation of 250 euros in total together with conference fee waiver and funded transport and accommodation to Barcelona for the ATGENDER conference between July 8th and 13th 2025.
• You gain practical experience in the organizing of a large academic conference under the supervision of the office manager and a board member of At Gender.
• A professional experience with space for feminist networking, with academics, practitioners and activists in the field of Gender, Transgender, Sexuality and Queer Studies.

YOUR PROFILE

• MA student based in Utrecht currently enrolled in a study program in the field of gender studies or related fields (social sciences or humanities)
• Availabile to travel to Barcelona between July 8th and 13th 2025
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good abilities in editing and formatting documents
• Previous team and organization work (office tasks, activist commitment…)
• Previous experience of participation in an academic conference is a plus
• Selected abstract for this conference is a plus
