Call for ATGENDER Digital Archive Intern

ATGENDER, the European Association for Gender Research, Education and Documentation is looking for an intern who is a current MA student at Utrecht University to support us in building a digital archive of ATGENDER events and activities from 2009 – present. The internship is between February 2026 and June 2026 and consists of work for 10-16 hours per week.

In 2025/26, ATGENDER is re-launching our website. This will include a new ‘look’, spaces for blogging and book reviews, creative interventions, resources for early career researchers, and a digital archive of ATGENDER’s past and present.
Our current website has a significant archive of published and unpublished webpages which all contain important information and history about ATGENDER, and its involvement in feminist and queer research, education and activism over the last 16 years.
We are seeking an intern to support the development of the ATGENDER digital archive on our new-and-improved website.
WE OFFER

TASKS
- Sorting through, organising and collating the current ATGENDER website archives
- Contributing ideas for how the new ATGENDER digital archive should be presented
- Uploading the ATGENDER digital archive to the new website
REQUIREMENTS
- You are an MA student based in Utrecht currently enrolled in a study program in the field of gender studies or related fields (social sciences or humanities);
- You are ready to work for 200 hours spread over an agreed period of time;
- You are familiar and comfortable with WordPress;
- You are fluent in English; additional knowledge of other languages is an advantage but no requirement
- You are able to demonstrate some knowledge of women’s rights/gender equality issues and/or European Union policies and institutions
- You are available February – June 2026
TIMETABLE FOR APPLICATIONS
