New Report: A Swedish Commission for Gender Mainstreaming

In July 2008 the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research was commissioned by the government to set up a program to support governmental agencies in their work with gender mainstreaming. To complete the mission that lasted until the end of 2010, the Program Jämi was organized.

To disseminate the results of JÄMI the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research has now published the report JÄMI: A Swedish Commission for Gender Mainstreaming, which is an English summary of Jämi’s findings, conclusions, and recommendations.

We hope that the report can be useful to practitioners as well as to institutions and others interested both in and outside Sweden.
